Yonhap News Agency reported that prosecutors have arrested former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun amid an investigation into treason allegations after South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol declared temporary martial law last week.The Special Investigation Agency said officers arrested Kim Yong-hyun, seized his mobile phone, and sent him to a detention center in eastern Seoul. The arrest came after Kim Yong-hyun had been in the Special Investigation Bureau for more than six hours to give his statement, and he had promised to fully cooperate with the investigation, having resigned from his position on December 5.
